Good evening blogosphere,
I’m just leaving a quick note to indulge my excitement about one of my new projects for February. I found this clever tutorial at http://www.awaitingada.com for a bubble/biscuit quilt. I have a friend at work who’s daughter is having a baby boy, so I’m making her a bubble quilt. I’m trying Skyler’s second tutorial, which looks easy enough for a newbie like me. I spent my evening cutting the squares for the top of the quilt, although I’ll probably have to wait until the weekend to start pinning and sewing. Besides, I don’t want to start a new quilt until I’m done quilting my mom’s quilt. I’m sure to be done with it in the next couple of days. I’m pretty nervous, because I’m afraid it won’t look professional, even though I’m far from being a pro. I tend to get a little exasperated when I don’t see perfection in my projects. BUT, nevertheless, I carry on, lol. Here’s a pic of the pretty fabrics that the mommie-to-be picked out
I think it will turn out pretty cute. Well, time to turn in and rest up for the regular 9-5 tomorrow.
Good night and God Bless
